Can I buy these items after the campaign ends? (including add-on items)

The best way to secure your Snug-Alongs and other add-ons is to support the campaign by pledging or ordering via the preorder store (available after the campaign)! Stock may be extremely limited after the campaign ends.

We will announce when surveys/the preorder store will close. After that, leftover items will be stocked on our website (https://littlesofts.com/) only once the campaign has been fulfilled.

How do I choose my Snug-Alongs? Can I add more to my pledge? Can I combine a preorder store order and my pledge?

After the campaign is over, a survey will be sent to your email that you can use to pick your chosen character/design. You can pledge for more items while the campaign is still active, and you can add additional items with your survey as well. If you utilized Pay Over Time, you do not receive your survey until your payment plan has been paid off.

If you only pledged via the preorder store, you do not receive a survey. You already picked your designs when pledging via the preorder store.

We cannot combine campaign pledges, and preorder store orders, so we do not recommend placing an order separately from your pledge. You can add items to your pledge during the campaign, and when filling out your survey. We recommend adding items this way if you want everything in one shipment. Please note we cannot change what add-on items are available to purchase.

Can you add an item from your store to the add-ons, or combine it with my pledge/preorder?

We’re sorry, we cannot combine store items with our campaign. We will not be adding more items to our add-ons.

Can I purchase the individual Lil Freekz character that I want? Are they only being sold as blind bags?

Lil Freekz are only being sold as blind bags. We won’t be selling characters individually. However, we know the feeling of wanting a specific design from a blind bag, so we have a trading/selling/buying channel in our Discord server for our Lil Freekz! Please make sure to read the rules first! Some buyers may sell opened designs on other websites, as well, but buying off these websites is at your own discretion.

I backed the Sunshine Teddies. Can I combine campaigns?

The Sunshine Teddies are in production! While we wait for them to be finished, we are working on the Snug-Alongs Series 3 campaign. These will be in production while Sunshine Teddies will begin to ship out to you. You will not be able to combine shipping between campaigns as the production and shipping dates will be many months apart – please review the timeline on our campaign page.

When can I expect my survey? How long do I have to fill it out?

Surveys are sent after the campaign has concluded. It is not instant, and surveys are sent out in a staggered manner (so someone may receive their survey before you do!) We will make an announcement to confirm when surveys are being sent out. If you elected to Pay Over Time, you do not receive your survey until your payment plan has been paid in full.

Announcements via the Community page will be made to confirm when we plan to close surveys.

Can I pick the color of my straps and/or bandana?

Sorry, the Snug-Alongs only come with the straps and bandana as pictured and cannot be swapped or customized between characters! However, they are removeable, so once you receive them, you may customize them with your own straps/bandana as you wish!

What size bandana/collar/clothing can my Snug-Alongs wear? Do the Snug-Alongs fit Build-a-Bear and/or other plushie brands' clothes?

The Snug-Alongs’ bandanas are approx. 26 inches long, but any similarly sized bandana should work. Many owners have had success decorating their backpacks with clothing and accessories for medium sized dogs or toddlers. We cannot endorse or guarantee that Build-a-Bear or other brands’ clothes and/or accessories will fit Snug-Alongs, but feel free to ask other members in our Discord for any ideas and advice!

Are the Snug-Alongs washable?

Yes! How big is the pouch? Can it fit (specific item)? (including iPads, electronics, water bottles... etc.!)

The inner pocket is about 10 inches deep and 7 inches wide. (If you have a Snug-Along from series 1 or series 2, it will be the same exact size!) Please use these dimensions to estimate what items can fit inside. We regret we cannot test every item or guarantee your items will fit, so please use your best judgment!

Will the parts on the backs of certain Snug-Along backpacks (manes, wings, horns, etc.) dig into my back and feel uncomfortable when worn?

These parts are unstuffed and designed to lay flat when worn, and should not dig in. We have not had any reports of discomfort!

What materials are the Snug-Alongs, and other items made out of?

Snug-Alongs: Imitation Rabbit fur fabric for the cuddly bodies, faux silk for the inside pocket, and bronze and polyester for the straps and hardware. Big Hugs: Minky fabric. Lil Freekz: Faux fur and minky fabric. Ball-chain attachment is stainless steel.

Each of our items are made out of all brand new materials.

I need to change my shipping address.

You are able to edit your shipping address via your survey at any time before shipment. You will receive a Final Notice email before we will lock shipping addresses. If you have difficulty updating your shipping address, please email [email protected].

When will you ship my Snug-Alongs? Will I get a tracking number?

We anticipate being able to begin shipping by January 2027, but we will continue to give updates during the production process! All orders will come with tracking! You will receive an email with your tracking number once your pledge has shipped. You can also confirm this information in your BackerKit account. Please note shipments will be done in batches, and are not “first come first served.” We appreciate your patience in advance!

NOTE: Due to postal limits, big domestic orders, and international orders may be split and shipped in multiple packages. For more info on international order splits, please see our FAQ “Note on Shipping to International Backers.”

Note on Shipping to International Backers

(FOR INTERNATIONAL [Non-USA] BACKERS ONLY) We do our best to find the most affordable international rates possible. Our available shipping methods have strict dimensional limits – prices increase dramatically when these limits are passed. International pledges may be split and shipped into multiple packages to mitigate these high prices.

Packages that cross international borders are subject to duty tax assessment. Duty tax and applicable fees are usually assessed on a per package basis, so please keep this in mind if you choose to back for multiple Snug-Alongs. We cannot answer any questions about what you may be charged via customs/VAT/duties/taxes, etc. Please be sure to research your local customs rules before ordering!

What is your refund/cancel/return policy?

There are no refunds or cancellations once you have committed to your pledge (once the campaign has ended) or placed an order on the preorder store.

We will not accept returns, with the exception of receiving a defective item (ex. holes, popped seams, torn embroidery, missing parts such as ears or limbs, etc.) If you receive a defective product, please contact us within 7 days of receipt at [email protected] for assistance with a return/exchange.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
